An impressive dinner set from a prestigious family, made to order to Mace and Vivian’s & Lobjoy ‘Plus Vivinis jeune’- as appears on the different marks. Most of the items have the initials of the gentleman who ordered the set, perhaps adding pieces to the set through the years. Maybe the set was more extensive, because there were more pieces, that have been chipped or broken. Please, have in mind that the consome (soup) bowls have their lid and plate, so they are 3 pieces that for convenience we consider as 12 pieces in total, (and not 36) meaning that they are for setting 12 guests.
