An attractive pair of antique Japanese Satsuma-style earthenware cabinet vases dating to the late Meiji or early Taishō period (circa 1900–1920).

Each vase features a rich russet-brown glazed body with elaborate raised moriage enamel decoration highlighted with gilt accents. The bodies are adorned with ornate floral and arabesque medallions, while the necks, handles, and pedestal bases display finely detailed polychrome ornamentation. The distinctive twin scroll handles and hand-painted decoration reflect the high-quality craftsmanship of Japanese export art pottery produced during the early 20th century.

The bases bear hand-painted red artisan marks.
