Vintage Murano Faceted Sommerso “Geode” Bowl — Emerald Green & Amber, Mandruzzato Style

Striking mid-century Murano glass bowl in the classic “geode” form, with an emerald-green core submerged in a warm amber layer and encased in thick clear crystal (sommerso technique). The heavy, prism-cut body has sharp, polished facets with a square/rounded well and a crisp geometric profile, characteristic of Mandruzzato workshop pieces from the 1960s–70s. Unsigned (as many were). Perfect as a sculptural catchall, ashtray, or paperweight; wonderful optical effects under light.

Condition: light shelf wear to base and minor surface marks consistent with age; no chips/cracks.
